Christ educates the human heart today using the same method he has always used: through an experience of communion which invites men, women and children to come and see the beauty of his life with the Father through their Spirit of life and love. The vitality of our parish life depends on the openness and commitment of every St. Thomas parishioner to be formed in the fullness of the faith. This ongoing education in what Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI called "the great art of how to be human" is meant for parishioners of every age and circumstance.
“Because faith is born of an encounter, which takes place in history and lights up our journey through time, it must be passed on in every age. It is through an unbroken chain of witnesses that we come to see the face of Jesus.”
Pope Francis
Lumen Fidei, 38
Teach me, O Lord, to search for you. Show yourself to me when I search for you. If you do not teach me first, I cannot seek you. If you do not reveal yourself to me, I cannot find you. In longing may I search for you, and in searching long for you. In love may I find you and in finding you, love you. Amen.
-Saint Ambrose (340-397)
