St. Thomas the Apostle has a number of different groups and activities that provide experiences for individuals to grow in faith and love. Some activties focus on education and prayer , others are for different groups within our community , still others are service opportunities , within our Parish. Children's Liturgy of the Word This is a parent-led program for children aged four years to twelve that occurs during the 10:30AM mass.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study This is a weekly bible study group that meets at 10:30AM in the Parish Hall. Please contact
Wednesday Evening Bible Study This is a weekly bible study group that meets at 7:30PM in the rectory. Please contact Deacon Boesman for more information.
St. Thomas Wednesday Prayer Group This is a weekly prayer group that meets every Wednesday after the 12:30PM Mass. Please email Prayer@stthomasapostledc.org for information or prayer requests.
Communities
St. Thomas Hispanic Community Promotes religious, educational pastoral and social activities among Spanish-Speaking parishioners. For more information click here
St. Thomas Apostle Young-Adults (STAY) Our active young adults ministry has their own website at http://www.stayoungadult.org
The Sodality of Our Lady This is a Marian Group that sponsors spiritual social and service activities on the 1st Sunday of the month following the 8:30AM Mass (except January when it is the 2nd Sunday) For more info on the Sodality check their website here
Service opportunities
Choirs St. Augustine said those who sing pray twice. St. Thomas features three different opportunities to sing, including the Hispanic Choir, The Traditional Choir that performs at the 10:30AM mass, and the young adult choir that performs at the 7:30 Mass.
SOME: So Others May Eat: A group of volunteers led by our young adults help serve lunch every third Saturday.

IONA Senior Services Every 4th Saturday and 5th Saturday, a group of volunteers from the Parish, led by our young adults, help deliver meals to IONA Seniors.
